Blue Moon Atelier Radio

Broadcasting 24/7, internet-only radio.

I’m almost always listening to music when I work. Having spent a couple of decades in radio - DJ, creative (writing, producing & performing commercial content), music director, traffic (scheduling commercial content) - I love to throw together a playlist.

With Blue Moon Atelier Radio, I’ve programmed an eclectic mix of prog, rock, alternative, Goth, Hunnu, indie, some ambient, 80s pop rock, and a smattering of jazz thrown in. Have a listen (content warning - there will be some songs with swears).

We recently changed streams to http://boogie.vside-radio.com:8160 Please update any shortcuts/links you may have (and update land stream in Second Life).

Tune in!

Second Life Listening Party

Users of Second Life are invited to join us “in-person” for a listening party of the live broadcast of The 80s Hour with host “DJ Mer”*.

UPDATE 14 August 2024: We’re back from break!

The 80s hour is back and better than ever! Why? New location, and more 80s tunes! Join us in Rosehaven Sanctuary on the 1st Saturday monthly from 2 - 4 PM SLT for a supersized version of the 80s Hour! You can teleport straight to the venue using this link: http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Rosehaven%20Sanctuary/111/160/2504 or wander the grounds of The Green Witch Park in Rosehaven Sanctuary to find the portal to the club.

To keep up to date with happenings at the new Second Life club, join our in-world group “DJ Mer’s Misfits”, or our Discord server.

*DJ Mer = Mary Layton…“Mer” is a nickname given to Mary by her sister-in-law, and “DJ Mer” just had a nice flow to it, so it’s become part of the persona.
